About Us

The Southern Nevada Ale Fermenters Union (SNAFU) is the largest homebrew club in Southern Nevada, bringing together people who share a passion for brewing great beer and learning more about the craft. Our club exists to support homebrewers at every level by providing opportunities to learn, experiment, and share knowledge about the science and art of fermentation.

SNAFU meets on the second Friday of each month, alternating between Aces & Ales and Evolve Brewing. Each meeting is a chance for brewers and craft beer enthusiasts to connect, share homebrew, and discuss brewing techniques in a relaxed and welcoming environment. Check the Events page to see the location of our next gathering.

Our meetings are open to anyone of legal drinking age, and membership is not required to attend. Guests are encouraged to bring homebrew or interesting craft beers to share with the group.

Club announcements begin around 7:30 PM, followed by social time where members share beer, talk brewing, and connect with fellow enthusiasts. During the meeting you can also enter the Brew Buddies drawing, where members are paired up for collaborative brew days. We wrap up the night with a raffle featuring commercial craft beer, with tickets available for purchase or earned by donating beer to the raffle.

Beyond the Brew

SNAFU is proud to be part of the Las Vegas craft beer community. Throughout the year, our members volunteer at local beer festivals and events, serving homebrew to the public and helping raise money for charitable causes.

These events give us the opportunity to share our passion for brewing and introduce more people to the creativity of homebrewing.
